All the process advantages are feasible for large and heavy components
Finishing large and heavy components often used to be dependent on conventional, chemically assisted or manual processes. Not anymore. OTEC machines can process components of up to 200 kg, 650 mm in diameter and 650 mm long – all to our trademark quality level.
The SF-HP and SF-HD
Both the SF-HP and the SF-HD have:
- An integrated automatic loading system
- Fully automatic workpiece cleaning
- Automatic workpiece holding
- Fully automatic adjustable axes
These features are common to the design concept of both machines – a concept which is especially popular in this market. Their processing efficiency is remarkable. Both machines are capable of handling an amazingly wide variety of workpieces, for example in terms of diameter and size.
SF-HP
The SF-HP, from our SF-Series, finishes large, heavy workpieces of up to 650 mm in diameter and weighing up to 200 kg. Our exclusive stream finishing process produces a superb surface finish on aerospace components.
SF-HD
The SF-HD has up to 12 fully automatic axes. It can process workpieces of up to 380 mm and 68 kg.
